Our project is a web service designed for automated search of price patterns on charts of financial instruments, both on history for analyzing patterns efficiently and in real-time directly for trading. Price patterns are regularities of price movement represented in the form of graphical models. They are regularly repeated on the market and have a certain probability of influence on further price movement.
Initially, we focus on US stock market instruments such as stocks and ETFs provided by the two largest stock exchanges, Nasdaq and NYSE. This includes over 10,400 instruments.

Pattern Search and Analysis
We provide tools for searching and analyzing price patterns on charts of various financial instruments.
Forecasting
Based on the detected patterns and historical data, our service can provide forecasts of the direction of further price movement.
List of instruments
We start with a limited list of US stock market instruments, but in the future we plan to expand this list to include US futures, options and money market instruments, as well as instruments from financial markets in other countries.
Information and Training
We provide information on various price patterns, their interpretation and practical application in the market. We also offer educational materials for traders and investors.
Basic functionality of the service
Historical Screening
- Search for the desired pattern on history for analyzing its efficiency: The user specifies the characteristics of the desired pattern, such as instrument ticker (short instrument name), date, and time, and has the option to select a pattern from the stored patterns, including well-known patterns such as Head & Shoulders, Triangles, Double Top/Bottom and so on, as well as his own patterns, including arbitrarily selected situations on the charts. The user has the ability to detect formed patterns on intraday charts with a history depth of more than 10 years.
- Forecast Interval: The user defines the forecast interval he is interested in for analyzing price movements in the past to analyze pattern efficiency.
- Search Area Characteristics: User specifies a period from and to historical data and a list of instruments to screen. Can save lists of instruments for reuse.
- Screening results: The algorithm searches for similar patterns taking into account the specified parameters. The results are presented as:
- A sorted list of charts with the highest similarity (parameter n is specified by the user).
- A tabular representation with information about instrument ticker, date and price change at the end of the forecast interval for each found pattern.
- The results are ordered by similarity level.
Realtime Screening
- Real-time search for the desired pattern: The user specifies the characteristics of the desired pattern, such as instrument ticker, date, and time, or can select a pattern from stored patterns (well-known patterns such as Head & Shoulders, Triangles, Double Top/Bottom, and so on, as well as his own patterns, including arbitrarily selected situations on the charts).
- Search Area Characteristics: The user specifies the list of instruments on which he/she wants to conduct the current screening.
- Results of the current screening: The algorithm searches for similar patterns on charts in real time. The results are presented as:
- A sorted list of charts with the highest similarity (parameter n is specified by the user).
- A tabular representation with information about the instrument ticker.
